Milk market looks set for short-term gain

Cheese plants we work with are indicating strong seasonal sales and availability of current cheddar cheese is tight. Cash cheese rose 3.25ยข today to $1.5975/lb and sources indicate we may hold above $1.60/lb well into October. If that were to happen, October milk would likely climb above $15.25 and November above $14.10. Follow gains with trailing stops and target to close Oct at $15.30 and November at $14.15.
Milk trades on the CME. Each penny move in the milk contract is $20.
